The Story Behind Strategic Direction

Michael Baudo spent the first part of his career at the center of institutional finance, in senior leadership roles at global banking and financial services firms where he priced risk and advised on transactions where the numbers were large and the tolerance for error was small. All along, friends and acquaintances asked him for guidance on their own money, and he could rarely offer it, since his responsibility belonged to institutions rather than to individuals. Strategic Direction grew directly out of that gap. After stepping back from his corporate role, Michael built a practice that puts the same rigor he once brought to institutional portfolios to work for people planning their own futures.

What the Name Means

Behind the name sits a conviction that guides how Michael advises everyone he works with.
